HSPCB was again strongly urged to enforce hashtagPotholeFree and hashtagUnauthorizedParkingFree ROADS upon GMDA (Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority), hashtagGurugramTraffic Police, Municipal Corporation Gurugram and hashtagMunicipalCorpofManesar since these cause extreme SPM matter and Pollution in Gurgaon. ● MIWA representatives, including President Mr. Rajesh Gupta, General Secretary Mr. Vikash Gupta, Vice President Ms. Suman Chawla and Executive Members Mr. Rajinder Singh Yadav, Mr. hashtagSPKamboj, Mr. hashtagGurmeetSingh and Mr. Ashu Jhingan, met HSIIDC (Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructural Development Corporation Limited) officials, incl AGM (Engg), Horticulture & Elec officials & Senior Town Planner Ms. Babita. Key Minutes of the hashtagHSIIDC Meeting ~ • hashtagRoads: Sector road patchwork targeted by 8 November 2026. Recarpeting estimates are in progress, with a tender update expected at the next meeting. Berm cleaning on 60-metre roads is targeted by 30 November 2026. • hashtagDrainage: Drain-cleaning progress was reviewed & a joint MIWA–HSIIDC inspection of roads, drains and berms is planned after Diwali. • hashtagSanitation: MIWA will write to the Hon’ble Chief Minister requesting the handover of sanitation responsibilities to HSIIDC, citing concerns regarding the existing MCM–HSIIDC arrangement. • hashtagStreetLighting: HSIIDC has prepared an upgradation estimate for submission to MCM for approval. MIWA also requested interim repairs to repairable streetlights before winter. • hashtagIndustrialInspections: MIWA requested a practical and considerate approach to inspections. HSIIDC explained its obligations regarding zoning and right-of-way (ROW) violations under Supreme Court directions. Notices will provide 10 days for rectification, while refusals of inspection will be recorded & reported. Important Environmental Compliance Advisory MIWA urges all member industries to follow the revised hashtagCAQM hashtagGRAPGuidelines dated 29-9-26, including effective operation of Air Pollution Control Devices (APCDs), construction dust mitigation, applicable live CCTV monitoring requirements for sites over 500m² & Online Continuous Emission Monitoring System (OCEMS) compliance.

CAQM revises GRAP schedule for the National Capital Region.

Key highlights of the revised GRAP for NCRI mmediate effect: The revised GRAP schedule is issued under Section 12 of the CAQM Act, 2021, and applies across the NCR.Four AQI stages: Poor (201–300), Very Poor (301–400), Severe (401–450) and Severe+ (above 450).Proactive activation: Measures can be invoked in advance based on IMD/IITM forecasts;
